YOUNG COACHES PROGRAM OF NEW ROCHELLE is proud to present our Young Coaches Program. We are looking for talented soccer enthusiasts who would like to use their skills to help develop and train our youngest players enrolled in the recreation program.
NOTE: YOU DON’T NEED TO HAVE SOCCER EXPERIENCE TO SIGNUP.
You will be assisting the children alongside our seasoned professional trainers. This is a great extracurricular activity for your resume. Here’s how the program works: We are looking for Boys and Girls, ages 13-18 preferably from New Rochelle Middle and High School or New Rochelle in general. Other towns will be considered. We need young coaches to cover our timeframe of 7:30 am until 3:30 pm. Anytime that works for you we will try to accommodate but will give preference to the 7:30 and 3:30 times. For newcomers, we will pay you $10 per hour in the form of a credit towards a project, soccer, or school you choose to support. Fill out the application on this page to be considered. You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Field set up and breakdown
- Gather and coordinate the groups each week
- Run drills under professional trainers
- Referee small, sided games or assist with substitutions
- Assist players, parents and YSNR staff as needed
The program runs every Saturday from 9 AM-3:30 PM both in spring and fall. It is possible we might have a summer program and might also need your assistance. No minimum to help each Saturday (No cap on hours). No applicant will be disqualified because of gender, race, color, creed, or religious beliefs. Only applicants that can volunteer to support a soccer environment will be considered.

No hours will be guaranteed or prechosen; schedules will be created before 4/1/23, and we will provide as much lead time as possible to plan accordingly, and the hours will be balanced between participants.

The monetary stipends paid are based on the community service provided to help our soccer season. This is a volunteer opportunity and YOUNG COACHES PROGRAM is not responsible for any missing items, injuries, or unavailability.
By signing up and participating in our program and activities on and off the field, you give YCP permission to use your image for the program and advertising usage to support the program.
